Rally For Royal - A Fine Art Fundraiser

On January 16th, I took Royal to the ER. His stomach looked a little bloated—nothing drastic, nothing alarming—just enough to make me worry.

An hour later, I was standing in fluorescent light, staring at a vet who wouldn’t meet my eyes. A mass on his spleen. Ruptured. Bleeding out. It was happening fast, faster than I could process, faster than I could hold on. Maybe cancer. Maybe just days left.

I called my people—Skyler, Nikko, my parents. Their voices cracked in the places mine couldn’t. But we didn’t dwell. There wasn’t time for that. There was only the next right thing…

Surgery. Biopsies. Waiting rooms that stretched time in unnatural ways. Medications. Hope, then fear, then hope again. We’ve been living in the in-between ever since.

The weight of this—physically, emotionally, financially—is overwhelming. But I can’t not try. On Tuesday, Royal has his third round of chemotherapy. Some days, I’m fine. Some days, I’m barely keeping my head above water.

I am so fortunate to be surrounded by incredibly caring people who have reached out and asked how they can support us. That kindness has meant everything. I wanted a way for those who wanted to help to be able to but I also wanted to ensure there was some kind of exchange of value.

So, I’ve created this print shop to help raise money to cover his medical expenses and get as many good days with him as we can.

As long as he’s still fighting, I will be too.

There is a donate button at the top and bottom of this page. Everything will go to covering the costs of this Cancer journey so far (surgery, appointments, medications) and ongoing treatment to give him as many good days as we can.
Purchasing prints with the buy now option allows you to purchase prints at the list price where all profits go to Royal’s medical bills.
The Pay-What-You-Want option lets you add anything extra, and every dollar beyond the base price goes directly toward Royal’s treatment.
